Isaiah 1:1-31

My people, you walk as sheep in the midst of wolves, of men who know Me not. They cry aloud, yet their voices are not heard by Me, for they seek their own pleasures. I will not hear their voices unless they repent of their sinful ways.

How I have longed to hear from you in the intimacy of true worship. Oh that you would desire My Presence. It is a place of stability and rest. My people yet do not know, how to worship Me in spirit and in truth. Ye must not follow the ways of man, for they shall fail you. You must follow My Ways that will lead you to life and life everlasting.

Why have you allowed the ways of man to sway your thinking? Do you not think that I would lead you by My Spirit in the way you should go? Shun all evil and man’s selfish ways, and follow Me into Paths of Righteousness, right living in My Sight, for My Ways are higher than man’s foolish ways, and My thoughts are higher than man’s vain thoughts. Would you desire to please man, mere flesh above Me?! Then follow in My Ways, even as I have taught you through My Son. There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end of those ways are the ways of death. Therefore settle it in your hearts that you desire only to please Me and not flesh, neither yours nor mans.

Come now, let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. I will not tolerate fleshly worship, nor mere advances of trying to please Me with fleshly acts. They that worship Me must worship Me in spirit and in truth. Please me hereafter with a love towards Me that is with all thy heart, and is with all thy soul, and with all thy mind and with all thy strength, saith the Lord thy God.
