In Proverbs 29:18 God tells us, “Where There is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.” And in Hosea 4:6 God declares “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to Me: seeing you have forgotten the Law of your God, I will forget your children.” Further down at verse 12 of Hosea 4, there is the implication where the enemy has invaded our church bodies with false doctrines of men and doctrines of devils. 1st Timothy 4:1 declares “Now The Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits of devils.”
God declares in Hosea 4:12 “My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declares unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms has caused them to err, they have gone a whoring from under their God.” So instead of walking in love and forgiving one another, ( even as Jesus Christ has forgiven us, hating their sin, yet loving their soul, praying for them )… and instead of spending quality time with our Heavenly Father, Abba, worshipping Him and living, abiding, in His Presence, pleasing Him in all our ways… But instead of yearning for a closer walk and having a relationship with God’s Holy Spirit, some of our people were enticed by the thought that they only had to hold a wooden staff to be able to prophecy. They sought the supernatural, not God. To get a staff which looks like a walking stick, and were told by the minister that if they held it, then they would be able to prophesy, this is not how you seek God’s face! This is then by a spirit of Divination! This opened the door for pastors, ministers and Christians to prophesy by the spirit of Divination!! If any reading this participated in this open door for devils to speak through you, rather than The Holy Spirit of the Living Almighty God, then 1st you must REPENT for allowing yourself to be seduced by this false spirit, thus opening yourself to this unholy alliance with Satan! 2nd you must RENOUNCE that foul spirit of Divination! Then 3rd with Great Authority and HOLY BOLDNESS, BIND AND CAST OUT that spirit of Divination IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!! One must be of utmost respect unto God our Heavenly Father, and not pass on this spirit of Divination to the person who is open to receiving it.
A similar thing happened some years ago when some church leaders of a movement did not discern when the enemy crept in..
Back when we held church at 191 Bank Street in downtown Burlington, my staff and I were holding a business meeting. A few of my staff wanted to go to a move of God taking place in Canada. A few visitors had come by our church, who had been there and spoke about it… except I had no peace about it! Something was off! Something just didn’t feel right! And so I told my staff please let me and one of our leaders go to check it out first, because what we want here is pure, and I do not want to see God’s work defiled.”
So as I went about getting ready for our trip, I felt led to take some excellent recordings of the “God’s Generals” series by Roberts Liardon. God had commissioned him to study and put together the information about why some great leaders succeeded, and why some failed. One of the recordings I was led to bring along on our trip was about the Azusa Street Revival that took place in the early 1900s.
On our trip to this meeting, my sister in the Lord, who is an Elder, and I listened to this particular recording. Many hours later we finally arrived at the hotel in Canada, where these meetings were taking place. As we entered and walked down the hallway of the hotel, we were very uncomfortable and embarrassed to see individuals rocking back and forth, grunting like pigs, with what I assumed was a counselor standing over them. The only time I have seen this type of animalistic behavior was when devils were not wanting to be cast out of a person. We found out later that they considered this a blessing from God. Whereas pigs and dogs are considered unclean animals and never to be brought into the temple.
When we got to the main meeting room, we saw the rows of chairs had been stacked up high all over the place, and it looked like everybody was praying over everybody. It looked like complete mayhem, and there was no way that we were going to allow just anybody to pray over us, so we just left that first evening meeting.
We found out that we would each have to pay for each session that we would attend. So we decided to go to different meetings and share notes afterwards. In the meetings we would see a leader go to pray for someone with his hand just inches away, and the person receiving prayer would violently shake! In astonishment I would see people all over the floor, groaning as though they were being tormented by unclean spirits, but it was not my place to minister deliverance.
There was going to be a special question & answer meeting, and this is where I was going to ask them why they were allowing just anybody to pray over others? After allowing others to go before me, it came time for me to step up to the microphone. First I laid down the foundation that I believed in the Supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit. I shared about how when I was at a Marilyn Hickey conference dancing under the anointing in worship unto God. I shared how I found that I was dancing in the form of a figure eight, and when I got to the top of the 8, my body would go halfway down to the ground. And where gravity should have pulled me the rest of the way, the Holy Ghost picked me right back up! And when I danced and went to the bottom of the 8, my body would go halfway to the ground, and again the Holy Ghost would pick me right back up! This continued throughout the praise song, and then I somehow made it back to my seat a few rows back, that was on the end, next to an aisle in the pastors section.
So I stayed standing near my chair, but in that aisle. I felt this sensation to fall forward, and knew to relax and let God do whatever He wanted. And I found myself going forward ending up in a kneeling position with face forward on the floor…What I also saw was our Lord Jesus Christ standing right up there at the front where I had been dancing, and he was standing in the middle of the form of the figure eight that I was dancing in at the front! A lady minister, Pastor Mary Miller of Open Doors Ministry, said to me that nothing that I had done had disturbed the service! And that when I went forward in a bowing position, that holy hush went through the pastors section all the way through the room to the other side of that Oval Room!
In that question and answer meeting I continued to lay down the foundation that I embraced and had experienced the supernatural. As well, I told about how I had read how years ago believers were called Holy Rollers, and I had asked God what that was. And one day while I was worshipping God in a beautiful dance under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, I went down under the power of the Holy Spirit. (When it’s God you never get hurt!) But this time when I went down under the anointing found myself rolling! I would feel the power of the Holy Spirit on me rolling me, and would stop me just before I would have hit the chairs at the front area of the church room! (The Lord had me experience this several times!)
So after laying down the foundation, I began to share about the Azusa Street Revival. And I shared how a great minister Charles Parham had visited Azusa Street Revival,and noticed that there were witches in the meetings who were messing up the meetings! Charles Parham told William Seymour, who was the leader of the Azusa Street Revival, that he should not allow just anyone to pray over others, because witches were there! William Seymour refused to heed the wise warning from Charles Parham which resulted in the ultimate end of the move of God at Azusa Street Revival! (See “God’s Generals” by Roberts Liardon.)
Then I told them “Instead of you leaders praying over the people, you are allowing anyone to pray over each other, opening the same door!”… Ha! All of a sudden they turned off my microphone, and I was encircled by their leaders! And the main speaker said to me “This is where Rodney Howard Browne and I disagree!” He opened a can of worms! And I quickly prayed inside asking God for a scripture. I heard God say “Do not put a novice in office.” (1st Timothy 3:6) Without any microphone, my voice is strong enough to carry, and I spoke out “God tells us not to put a novice in office!” Needless to say, that meeting was over!
The ministry that was over this ministry operation had told them that they had to make corrections, or else they could no longer be under them. This ultimately happened, and this ministry that would not take advice changed their name.
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
Beloved, as we approach the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ, we need to be more discerning than ever before! Revelation 12:12 declares “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and you that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the Devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.” And verse 11 tells us “and they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”.
Amplified translation of Daniel 11:32… “With smooth words of flattery and praise he will turn to godlessness those who are willing to disregard the Mosaic Covenant, but the people who are spiritually mature and know their God will display strength and take action to resist. 33 They who are wise and have spiritual insight among the people will instruct many and help them understand; yet for many days some of them and their followers will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder. 34. Now when they fall they will receive a little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy. 35. Some of those who are spiritually wise and have insight will fall as martyrs in order to refine, to purge and to make those among God’s people pure, until the End Time appointed by God.”
Beloved, Now I believe we are in the End Times. But don’t be afraid. One should never fear death as a True Believer, because God removes you from your body before death even strikes it. 1st Corinthians 15:55 declares “Oh death where is your sting? Oh death where is your victory?” A beloved brother in Christ Evangelist Dean Braxton had died, and went to heaven for 45 minutes. He also stated the same fact that you just step out of your body and step right into the Spirit Realm which for the True Believer is stepping right into Heaven! An Elder in our church body also experienced seeing her loved one, who also served The Lord, step out of his body before death even hit his body! A visiting evangelist had the same testimony of seeing her loved one’s spirit exit their body before death took hold of their physical body! Jesus Christ told one of the most wonderful walking in God’s Love, praying vessels of God I’ve ever met, who is now with the Lord, Dr DGS Dhinakaran, that even when the martyrs were burnt at the stake, they left their bodies before the flame ever touched them!! Glory!! Hallelujah!!!
In closing,here is one of the most profound prophecies that God has ever given to me, that actually He has been having me repeat “very often” when ministering in these last days:
WARN MY PEOPLE! WARN MY PEOPLE! TO BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHICH CHURCH THEY ATTEND ON THIS END TIME HOUR! BECAUSE THERE IS COMING GREAT ERROR!! ALSO WARN THEM TO BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHOM THEY ELEVATE AS LEADERS!! BECAUSE MANY OF THOSE LEADERS WILL TURN ASTRAY TO ERROR!
