You all live too much for your flesh and pay too little attention to your soul, and therefore you will also lack the power of resistance. Only those who desire strengthening and nourishment of the soul will find it easier to overcome. But how often do you fall victim to temptation and still choose the comforts of the world, and this lets you become weak. Only when the body willingly renounces everything that pleases it and contributes to its comfort, will it feel within itself the power of resistance, and will not have to worry about surrendering in the struggle.

Do not give in to the urges of the body, but desire only for the welfare of your soul, and you will grow and mature in spirit. For those who love the Lord with all their heart must give everything for Him, they need nothing more if they carry Him in their heart, but the Lord comes only when all love and all desire is only for Him.

You want to strengthen your faith in visible signs but you don’t notice how little you do to make your faith strong. Pay attention to yourselves and your desires and try to silence the latter in you …. and your strength will increase, you will grow stronger in faith and you will truly not have to fear your own weakness.

But the warning goes out to mankind not to reject the work of the Lord lightly, because He has chosen this way to send news of unheard-of importance to all the world. In a time that has probably never been more serious, the Lord puts Himself in the way and tries to save what can still be saved. And this in the same way that He expresses Himself directly. He is embodied in every word, He gives His teachings to the people again and again, He also tries to ensure that they are received by the people, but the will of these people still opposes the will of God too much.

And thus there is always only a small number of people who recognize the Lord Himself in His word. But very soon the deeds will follow, which He has announced in His word. And all will tremble before God’s power and wisdom. They will hear Him and fear Him, because even if He admonishes in love and patience, even if it is His intention to raise people up and to proclaim the truth to their spirit, He will nevertheless also bear witness to His power, and those who do not want to acknowledge Him will hear the voice of His wrath. Watch and wait for that time so that it does not take you by surprise.

It is true that most people will not see anything and will not feel the nearness of the Lord even in the midst of the most serious events, for they do not see with spiritual eyes, but only behold the world and its goings-on, and steering upward is without success. But he who tries to overcome himself and does not respect the world’s desires will recognize the time brightly and clearly and will stand in the midst of the great world events, which will mean radiant light to one, but also dark night to another, and will be the beginning of another time, a time of spiritual striving. Who then fully faithfully surrenders to the fatherly guidance, he follows the right path …. the path to the eternal home, to eternal peace …..
